This guide shows employees and professors how to integrate their HWR email inbox into Mozilla Thunderbird. Students and lecturers can find their guide here.
Go to the Thunderbird menu â° and click on New Account > Set up an existing email address.
First, a yellow notification will appear.
Now, enter the following for your username:
DOMAIN\username corresponds to
hwr-berlin.de\username.
Since our domain name is hwr-berlin.de.
When all the data is entered correctly, the following available configuration will be displayed. After that, you can click Finish to complete the setup.
Alternatively, you can enter the data manually:
Incoming server:
imap.hwr-berlin.de
Port: 993
SSL/TLS
Authentication: Password, normal
Your email address, typically
vorname.nachname@hwr-berlin.de
Outgoing server:
smtp.hwr-berlin.de
