Transfer a Call

In the following article, we will explain how to forward, hold, and transfer a call, as well as use the address book, using the Avaya 9611G phone model as an example.

Transfer caller to Line 1

  • During an active call, press the softkey (1) ‘Transfer’.

Hold the caller on line 1 – call another participant

  • The participant on (1) Line 1 is placed on hold, and the call automatically switches to Line 2.
  • Call the second participant.
    • Call via (2) integrated phonebook.
    • Call via (3) programmed key.

Using the Phonebook

  • Filter phonebook entries
  • Example: HWR employees
    • 4 (GHI)
    • 9 (WXYZ)
    • 7 (PQRS)

Connect the caller with HWR employee

  • By pressing the softkey button ‘Durchst.’ (Transfer), the ‘caller’ and ‘HWR employee’ are connected.
