HWR Berlin IT can also solve problems on its devices (laptop and desktop) via remote maintenance. To do this, the remote help app from Microsoft must be installed on both computers.
- Download the installer
- Start “Quick Assist Installer.exe”
- The installer automatically configures the latest version
- Afterwards you can start the app from the start menu
- For remote maintenance, it is best to make an appointment with IT so that you can talk on the phone at the same time
- You will receive a 6-digit letter/number code so that the connection can be started
- After your screen has been shared, you still have to confirm the remote control request separately
