The HWR Berlin would like to give all members of the university the opportunity to engage constructively with generative artificial intelligence. With the start of the winter semester 2024/2025, a new IT service, HAWKI, will initially be available to teachers and students, providing data protection-compliant access to the GPT-4o (Open AI) language model via the HWR user account.
Further open-source language models will be integrated in the summer semester of 2025. We continuously update the AI information at http://ki.hwr-berlin.de. Here you will find more detailed information about generative AI and HAWKI, information and regulations for students and teachers on the use of AI in teaching and examinations, as well as event information.
The E-Learning Centre works closely with the departments and the First Vice President for Studies and Teaching on this topic.
